Alez pachnie mocno i to juz po zdjeciu kapsla z zarowka pkojarzy mi sie z zapachem koszuli D. Day-Lewisa z filmu There Will be Blood z 2007r. Niesamowicie intensywnie, tak wlasnie jak lubie. Piana ekstremalnie wysoka, jakby bylo przegazowane, trwala, barwa nie przejrzysta niczym wlasnie ropa naftowa. Smak wedzonki, przyprawiony kindziuk, litewski ciemny chleb, troche truflowe. Do tego mocna goryczka dajaca wytrawnosc, lekko kawowe, kwaskowe bardzo malo slodowe. Niemal trafiajaca w moj gust idealnie niczym strzal Jamsa Bonda na strzelnicy.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, mostly lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Peaty, smoky and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of peat, leather, hints of dark chocolate. Taste is dry, minimally sweet, peaty, smoky, roasty and minimally chocolately, dark malty, notes of leather and ashes, peat, hints of dark chocolate, a touch of caramel and toffee, bitter hoppy overtones; lingering peaty, smoky finish. Oily texture, soft and slightly sticky palate; an oily film remains on the lips, some biting hop bitterness keeps lips and tongue busy for a while. Very intense, outbid to the edge of discontent.

From backlog. 330ml bottle from RB Local Beer Swap. Leathery, smoky and earthy with some peath, wood, oak and whisky notes, hints of rye bread. Loads of peat here.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of peat, smoke, chocolate, caramel and licorice. Taste of bitter smoke, tarr, licorice, peat, whisky malt, caramel and a bitter smokey peaty finish. Tastes like rough scottish wheather, nice.

Bottle shared at formerly 100%NL THT. Hazy very dark brown with very big fluffy beige head. Massive peat, cow dung, smoke, roast, hay, CO2, chocolate. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Some body but I mostly get CO2 fizz in my mouth.

Bottle from Beerdome I think, BB 14022019. Dark brown color, medium rocky head. Aroma of lots of peated malts, so not my kind of smoke. Some roasted malts and dark brown bread on the side. All roasty bitterness with peat in taste as well. No caramel sweetness or anything to balance it. Its like a peated guinness. Ok, but not my cup of tea. --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) Dukla Nafciarz Dukielski on 14 Aug 2018 at 21:49 - Score: 6.
