A sour and juicy beer colour of the first morning or the last evening rays. A fifth of the volume consists of fresh blueberries that create a wonderful colour and flavour, that pairs with the grassy taste of oregano. A special soured wort and bitterness of HBC431 and Bramling Cross hops finish the flavour pallet.

Bottle, at Haandfest. It's an unclear deep red colored beer with a small pinkish white head. The aroma was heavily dominated by blackcurrant, leaving little room for anything else. Some blackcurrant leaves too, sort of herbal, grassy. It's medium bodied and quite dry, with a pleasant carbonation, and a flavor dominated by blackcurrant. Some grassy, herbal notes and a touch of bitterness too. Interesting in a way, wonder how much blackcurrant is used here, as the berries completely dominates. Quite nice though. 190503

Fajne czerwoniutkie z rozowo-buraczanymi refleksami, piana tez jest rozowa, nawet trwala jak na wild ale, oblepia kieliszek do krieka, przyjemnie owocowe, srednio kwaskowe a bardziej owocowe, mamy tu nieco drylowanej wisni, maliny, porzeczki, fajnie to im wyszlo, oby wiecej takich okolo lambickowych tematow.

Bottle. Ruby dark red color. Cassis and soft floral notes in the aroma. Dry, light sour flavor with skimmed milk and lots of black berries. Very interesting beer with some off flavors.

Spiced fruit sour, a collaboration between Dutch Van Moll and Latvian Labietis; 50 cl bottle shared by my girlfriend at Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Bubbly, loose, pink, mousy head, unstable and quickly dissolving into literally nothing; misty ruby red robe with purplish-fuchsia hue. Aroma of indeed blueberries and tangy blueberry juice, sweet tomatoes, yoghurt, pickled gherkin touch, blueberry seeds, sourdough, kombucha-like accent (possibly related to that majoram that seems to have been effectively added). Sour and very fruity onset, lots of blueberry juice tartness, acidic on the edges with a softer tomato- and raspberry-like impression too; medium fizz, slick middle, wheaty, dried by strong yoghurty lactic sourness. Sour berry fruitiness lingers strongly, fleshy and astringent thanks to - I assume - skins and seeds, with a light herbal effect from the majoram (though I would never recognize it unknowingly), bready yeast touch in the end. Accessible, very fruity (unsurprisingly seen the 20% blueberry share) and very fleshy, this is decent enough, though on the simplistic side of the sour scale, could have been more complex for me.

I Draught /I Huge white head, as whipped raspberry bavarois, rather stable; deep dark burgundy-red beer with a haze. Fresh greenery, cervil, marjoram; then, in the background, raspberry coulis. Again strange combination of greenery as cervil, parsley, marjoram, even some tarragon and suchlike, with diluted raspberry or blueberry juice. Gradually, the marjoram/oregano becomes obvious. Light body, fruitslick, low carbonation. Strange combination, but it works somehow.

This was a strange one. Felt like a blackcurrant juice. So if you are a blackcurrant fan. Go get it. Clear deep red pour with an ok head. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Quite balanced acidity and a bit dry ending. [Bottle at Haand Festial -19]

Clear purple appearance with pink foamy head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of floral blueberries. Nicely sweet, sour and herby. Very flavoursome.
