Na de val’ is a blend of those same Belgian apples with Normandy cider apples, in a 50/50 ratio, barrel-aged in Bordeaux barrels. It’s a bit higher in alcohol than hoogmoed (7.2%) and a bit more tannic, because of the bitter cider apples. Both ciders from Antidoot (including Hoogmoed) are fermented with our wild/native yeast culture, bone dry, unfiltered and lightly refermented in the bottle.

0,75l bottle at tasting during Kruisweg 2018 with Tom and Raf. Amber hazy color, small white head. Smells green apples, musty, citric, bit earthy. Nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes very nice of apples, earthy, lightly citric, a bit nutty. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of apples, earth and lights citrus. Very smooth and lovely apple notes 7, 4, 8, 3, 16

Thnx to Bart. Pours unclear blonde, no head, of course. Smell is apple, funky. Taste is dry, full, apples, natural, mild butteryness, not bad, but to dry for my personal taste.

Sampled at Walhalla. Hazy golden with white head. Very dry musty apple peels, almost as fucking bitter as potato peels. Medium body and soft carbonation. Bitter, dry, hard fucking apples. 👊🍏

Bottle sampled at Walhalla for Zwanze day. Clear golden with small white head. Lots of funk apple, dry earthy notes, soft white wine and oak, funk, soft horse, dry apple peel 🍎. Light sweet and bitter and tart. Under medium bodied with dry finish. Nice!
