Bottle at THT thanks to Sjogro. Clear dark golden with small off white head. Quite spicy, caramel, light grass, massive alcohol, rotten marzipan, rotting apples. Quite sweet and alcoholic bitter finish. Full bodied with alcoholic feel. What’s the point?

Bottle @ THT. Clear reddish color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweet, alcoholic, overripe fruits lightly. Medium body, a bit fizzy carbonation.

7th Feb 2015: Brugge Beer Festival, poured from a 33cl bottle. I had been drinking with these guys the night before the festival, so I got a good amount in my glass: cheers. Slight haze to the brown body, the head a wispy beige affair. Very sweet and malty, a Barley Wine with extra maltiness and very little of anything else bar alcohol. I actually liked it, my sweet tooth coming into it’s own again. Warming and strong alcohol wise, a nice sipper in between the rushing around and drinking at pace because you are at a beer festival.

0,33L bottle (as a gift). Pours hazy amber wutg beige head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is grass, alcohol, sweetness, malt. Flavor is sweet, alcohol, grass, alcohol, malt, alcohol, caramel, alcohol. Overall: I generally like sweet and sticky stuff, but this is way to boozy to be enjoyable.

Bottle sampled at BBF ’15. Pours cloudy brown with a tan head. Aroma of booze, alcohol, caramel, nasty.. Flavor is heavy sweet with big alcohol burn. Just unnecessary and pointless extreme not done well. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thx! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Kulminator. Ruby amber, little head. Nose is sweet raisin, lots of good malt sweetness, rock candy, good oxidation notes. Taste is sweet raisin, malt, bread, brown sugar, madeira oxidation, lightly warming, caramel, lots of raisin,.. Body is a touch light. I have had the 3 different BA varieties of this beer & they were all very bland. BA treatement just buried all of the more interesting flavours & added nothing interesting. This is a surprisingly solid for White Pony + just good in general. Still that name.............

Bottle from Biergenot, BB End 2017, large sample. Clear copper color, short lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma of lots of caramel, raisin, slight hay, high alcohol, spicy yeast, orange, madeira. Medium sweet in taste, bit bitter, lots of grapes coming in now, loads of raisins, big madeira. A bit homebrewey actually, but I was in for a glass of madeira, so extra points for that.
