Bottle @ home. Dark brown colour, beige foam disappears quickly. Lovely nose of red wine, wood, sweet plums, some balsamic vinegar. Taste is sweet, boozy, lots of red fruit, wood, red wine. Very well balanced. Lovely beer!

Good foxy-cream head, fast dwindling over fully hazy ruby to brown beer, finely carbonated. Obviously vinous nose, red wine, red winebarrels, intense. Red fruit, hints at lactic acid, fruitganache for pralines. Taste totally in line with the nose, bit faint bitterness, not necessarily hoppy, more roasted. Sweet and dry-vinous at the same time. Again lots of red fruit and fruitchocolates. Well-bodied without being thick, one more with spritzy carbonation. Long warming aftertaste, but herein, appears something soupy (don't tell me coriander was added, no?). Really good Barley Wine. Tussen twee haakjes, Jens, Bordeaux Margaux is compleet pleonastisch. Margaux is per definitie Bordeaux.
