Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Dried fruit, roast and oak in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty caramelly flavor with oak and dried fruit. Fairly well balanced. Neat.

Deep and dry sticky chocolate and liquorice on a chocolate and malty grainy body. Hints of malt, deep smooth roasted parts, wood. Nice.

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of moderate sweet dark malt, liquorice. Taste of strong dark caramelish malt, liquorice and some Chocolate, slightly boozy.

Herb alkoholischer Beginn mit starken Holznoten, die auf eine Lagerung mit Holzchips schließen lassen. Dezente hintergründige Säure, feine Herbe, hohe Süffigkeit. Mittellanger Abgang, rund. Gelungen! 12/11/10/10/6/11

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Another thanks to Santa Bierkoning. Black with light tan head. Sweet roasted dark malts, licorice, dark prunes, liquid oak. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation. So much wood, it’s crazy. Bottle shared with sjogro thanks to Bierkoning. Very dark brown with dark beige head. Huuuuge sweet oak, vanilla, sweet malts, brown sugar, tannins, light red wine, more oak, plums, milk chocolate. Over medium sweet, under medium bitter and soft puckering tannic tart and bitter. Over medium bodied. Nice stuff, but really strong on the oak.
