Flesje gekregen van TomHendriksen en thuis gedronken. Amberkleurig helder bier met matig schuim. Geur van gedroogd vlees. Smaak is rokerig en hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma fine beige persistente, colore ambrato carico velato, al naso malto banana spezie, in bocca malto miele pesca e lieviti belgi, media carbonatazione, buon amaro e medio corpo, l’alcool è ben bilanciato, dolce, buon retrogusto con discreta persistenza nel finale.

AROMA: moderate fruity aroma with a sweet pear note, followed by moderate peppery phenols and medium peppery alcohol. APPEARANCE: copper color and clear. medium ivory head with medium-high retention. lace formation. TASTE: medium-low pear-like notes with medium peppery phenols. sweet-grainy malt background. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. very faint alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a standard belgian golden strong ale.

Il gusto al naso si spiaggia sullo speziato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta ed è persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La consistenza del liquido è limpida. La carbonazione è bassa, persistente ed insistita e le bollicine sono poche. Il colore è ambrato carico. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile. L'amaro è deciso. L'intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pericolosa beverinità. Il finale è amarognolo, lungo, secco e pulito. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riporta impressioni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, resina, pino, fiori e alcol presente.

Pours deep golden to amber with a short frothy white head. The aroma contains (ripe) fruits, like orange and banana, caramel, spices, malts, hops and yeast. It tastes medium to heavy sweet and light bitter. Fizzy carbonation, oily texture, leaning towards sticky. It hides the ABV quite well but the alcohol becomes warming in the finish. Actually very tasty.
