Bottle from Beer Planet labelled Zwarte Piet. Apparently Zwarte Piet is going to be another different beer soon, but this one was the Equinox. Dark brown, creamy golden head. Aroma is beefy, roasty. Bit fruity too, and some whiskey type booze or spice. Taste is dark and roasty, bit of booze there, touch of coffee bitterness, spice, liquorice. Quite full on in the mouth and even a little bit prickly. Bottle. Malty aroma, hoppy notes, chocolate, cocoa, light coffee, earthy notes. Tastes the same as aroma, medium bitter, light sweet notes. Full body, medium to high carbonation, malty bitter finish. Ok.

Huge thanks to JefVerstraete for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Malty roasty aroma. Starts quite malty, modest dry, some fine roasty-earthy notes. More and more hoppy-dry, with a bitter background. Well balanced finish. Nice one!
