Donkerbruin bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is krachtig, hoppig bitter en licht zoet met iets van chocolade, koffie, zwarte bessen en rook. Erg goed.

Hyvin tummanruskea, kohtalaisesti vaahtoava olut. Tuoksu varsin mielenkiintoinen kokonaisuus. Siitä voi löytää ainakin maitosuklaata ja kahvia. Maussa samoin maltaista makeutta, kevyesti suklaata, kahvia, hieman katkerampaa otetta ja melko lyhyt jälkimaku. Keskitäyteläinen ja melko pehmeä suutuntuma, hiilihappoja kohtalaisesti.

May ’16. A 0.33 l bottle. It poured a hazy dark brown body with medium sized brownish head. Malty aroma, nuts, caramel, chocolate, some alcohol and of course hoppy counterpart which was not so strong, mostly herbal. Flavor was bitter though. Pleasant herbal hop notes intertwined with cocoa, dark fruit and cappuccino toasted malt. Medium body, very smooth with bittersweet herbal and elegant toasted finish. Very balanced, very pleasant, although an atypical black IPA.

Bouteille: Deep ruby-amber coloured, hazy, big and stable creamy tanned head; fruity , a btt , port-vinous nose with a quite solid herbal- hoppy background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, quite medium bodied; lingering chocolatey and vinous and dark-malty finish, disturbed by a solid herbal-hoppy aftertaste. Very nice brew...

Bottle at home. Clear mahogany with big caramel head. Lots of soft roasted note with toast, chestnuts, toffee, mango, grapefruit, milk chocolate. The nose is not that amazing but the taste is great with roasted and sweet notes mixing well, and a lasting roasted and hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied with a bit creamy feel going into light mineral feel into the finish. Mouth coating slight fizzy carbonation. Not a typical black IPA at all but it’s quite good.
