Pale golden, full foamy head. Nose is fairly dank, with resins and a hint at citrus. Flavor similar, kinda peppery with a nice semi-dry malt background. Very drinkable although the hop flavors get a little harsh the deeper in you get. Not overly bitter but almost.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is lightly hazy pale yellow with no sparkle, less-than-finger-width foamy off-white head with poor retention and trace leggy lacing. Aroma is floral, pine, whiffs of vegetables and citrus, and background cracker malt. Taste is strong pine, milder fruit, dank bitter. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, somewhat watery texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, complexity in the aroma and strong flavors, where it matters most, but palate is OK (not a strong 4, but not a 3) and appearance is average at best.

Sample at SBWF 2018. Golden with a small white head. Fresh with hops, passion fruit, citrus and some malt. Medium body and bitterness.

Bottle. Floral malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet orange, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Good body.

Tap at brewpub. Clear amber colour, small steady white head. Tropical fruity and resiny aroma. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruits finishing to resiny flavour. Very clean brew. Perhaps even too clinic.

Bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours gold with a small white head. Aroma is spicy hops: citrus, pine, pepper, dust. Flavor is grapefruit peel, white pepper, lemon zest, orange rind, caramel malt.
