Goose Midway is a lighter, sessionable IPA, which combines delicate citrus aromas with a balanced malt backbone, evoking tropical and mandarin notes. Using Hallertau, Amarillo, Centennial and Mosaic hops gives this IPA a medium to low malt profile, with a medium to low bitterness.

Bottle, medium stable bubbly head, clear gold color, citrus, flowers, hint of turkish delight and onion. a very light malty backbone, light to medium grapefruit herbal bitterness. Nice and quaffable.

Bière 33 cl achetée chez Saveur Bière et bue pendant un week-end à center parcs. Robe dorée, nez très agréable et fleuri sur des arômes de houblon et de rose. Bouche un peu décevante par rapport au nez, fraîche et citronnée, comme beaucoup de session ipa c'est un peu trop doux pour moi mais ça reste réussi. (M)

BB 03/2021.
Dorée - col blanc-cassé crémeux tenace.
Arôme est fruité sur les agrumes, qcq pointes tropicales (orange) et effluves un peu de thé vert - caractère malté léger en rétro.
Palais est léger fruité avec petite touche de groseille verte & herbacé - pointe de malté en rondeur caramel sur la fin. Fraîche avec note d'agrumes fines.

Hazy gold, white head.No nose. Light bodied, thin with vague hops. Another poor ISA as most seem to be in this style, with a few exceptions

Can at At the Beach. Clear golden with white head. Light malts, a touch if lime and grass, soft dough, very light creamy white bread. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Barely any aroma, has nothing to do with session IPA

330ml can from supermarket brewed in Belgium so I’m unsure how it differs from the US production. Pours a decent gold with a frothy head leaving some lacing. Tropical fruit and hops aroma. Decent carbonation, a little light in the body. Starts with a moderately sweet grapefruit and orange flavour, a little malt and then a decent bitterness and dry finish with the hops lingering a while in the aftertaste. My first ever American and Session IPA and I like very much although I’m not used to so much hop flavour, so as it stands I’ll stick to other beer types if I’m on a ‘session’.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 26 Feb 2020) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of tropical fruit, pineapple, resin and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with tropical fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, pine needles and a balanced citric, piney bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing session IPA. Nice one.
