Bottle (from etre). Pours red copper. Aroma is fruits, plum, carrots, some funk. Flavor is sour and sweet, raspberries, cherry skins, bitterness, funk, oak, tannins. Finish is sour and dry. Overall: very good.

Bottle 375ml. corked @ Hotel Room, Amsterdam, Netherlands. [ As BIIR Sweet-Sour / Red Series 2014 ]. [ Bottle # 675/3800 ].Clear medium to dark red color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate to heavy cherry, raspberry, tart, sweet, sour, funky, light to moderate wine - red wine - oak. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, tart, raspberry, cherry, sour, funky, oak - dry oak - dry wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. 0.375 l bottle from ’Firma Bier’, bottle #681/3800, best before June 2017. Clear, very dark ruby with a thin, soapy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sourish, a bit sweetish, very fruity and slightly funky aroma of massive sour cherries and raspberries, elderberry, blackcurrant, vinegar, some sweat and a bit oak. Rather sweet, only moderately sour, heavily fruity and slightly funky taste of again massive sour cherries and raspberries, elderberry, blackcurrant, some sweat and some vinegar as well as a touch of oak, followed by a relatively short, moderately tart, slightly woody-dry finish. Medium body, just slightly astringent and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, lots of fruit with a shy background of lambic character, maybe already too sweet, but definitely a well-made and really interesting fruit lambic.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom’s place. Thanks Tom L. Bottle 64/3800. Nice deep red color. Aroma of juicy cherries, berries, wood, a bit of cork, some cellar. Sweet and tart flavor with juicy cherries, some berries, mild funk, some cellar, oak. Rounded mouthfeel. Great, juicy, delicious.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque dark red color, average sized off-white to slightly pinkish colored head. Aroma is cherries. Perhaps a little fruitpeel and red fruit tart. Taste initially is sweet, but finishes lightly sour. The sourness is actually very modest, only just a slight sour hint. It sort of combines between raspberry and sweet cherry and perhaps even a little sugary. Quite pleasant actually. Interesting.

Smooth and fresh beginning. Easy to drink with great woody cherries. Hints of sourish chocolate, the fruity raspberries are in the mainpart over the cherries. Great melange. Smooth and woody sourish fruity aftertaste! Nice stuff!!

Muffiger, wenig fruchtiger Geruch. Fruchtiger, nur wenig süßer Antrunk. Durch die hohe Fruchtgabe ist die Säure vollständig verschwunden, vollmundig, etwas zuckrig wirkend. Langer fruchtiger Nachhall, keine Säure. 11/10/11/11/11/11
