An amped up version of our Black Perle, it is more of everything: creamier, slightly sweeter, richer and more chocolate-y. It’s a richer beer but we suitably add more Hasbean coffee to compliment the roasted flavours of the darker malts used.

From tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2018. Aroma is shitloads of coffee, mocha, milk chocolate, creamy lactose, bitter dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium to full. Wow, such a potent coffee dessert aroma, I love it!

Bottled. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, some lactose, mild toffee and some dried fruits as well as mild plummy notes. Flavour is figs, coffee, liquorice, chocolate, some alcohol and mild toffee to it. Good dessert beer, both as dessert and company to some chocolaty things for instance.

Very dark, rusty-greige head, deep dark brown beer. Capsicicine, capsicum, chili over the roast notes. More capsicum in the flavour, overlying sweet and lightly roasted malts. Medium to well bodied, very slick, aftertaste remains mainly spicy. Whence the capsicum? Or more to the point, where is the coffee milk?
