An amped up version of our Black Perle, it is more of everything: creamier, slightly sweeter, richer and more chocolate-y. It’s a richer beer but we suitably add more Hasbean coffee to compliment the roasted flavours of the darker malts used.

Sampled @ Borefts 2014 day 2. Opaque black color, small light brown head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts, heavy coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate. Nice bitter, roasty and dark chocolate finish. Medium body and carbonation. Nice one!

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Very dark, clear, reddy brown. Thick, bubbly, sticky, tan head. Lovely, thick milk chocolate aroma. Roast malt. Light roast coffee. Fruity tang. Taste is thick sweet, and meaty bitter. Slick, smooth, soft chew to the palate. Quite boozy, but nothing overwhelming. Finishes rich, silky, mocha bitter. Very nice.
