Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in cabernet barrels with blackberries, Juliet is a tart, fruity, complex ale. Notes of wood, tannin, dark fruit and spice make Juliet an ideal beer to suggest to Pinot Noir enthusiasts and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian sour ales.

Bottle at post Borefts BF 09 tasting. Pink/orange with a beige head. Lovely sour fruit, cherries and framboise. Good sourness in mouth, lovely. Itโ€™s good, right level of sourness. Lovely fruit. Gorgeous, and I want more.

October โ€˜09 O-Town Throwdown, courtesy of Solan. Pours amber, beige head. Aroma and flavor. plenty of good sourness, hints of fruits; on the cherry side adding a wine like palate from the Cabernet barrels adding a nice wood finish coupled with the fruit sour finish.

Not as sour as I hoped, but it is a good beer and sour enough. Pink color. Yeast in the aroma and flavor. A little bit sour. Moderate berry flavor, and it is real fruit because this is quite dry. Some brett in the aroma. Good. I believe Skyview shared this; thanks Bob.

GABFโ€™08. Aubreyโ€™s wife was raving about this. Aroma is lots of barrel and sweet blackberry. Some oak butter in there and it mixes with the new American sourness light though. Taste is some sour berries and really not much past that, surprisingly. Not overwhelming in the flavor from all the disparate parts, I guess that can be considered an achievement.
