Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in cabernet barrels with blackberries, Juliet is a tart, fruity, complex ale. Notes of wood, tannin, dark fruit and spice make Juliet an ideal beer to suggest to Pinot Noir enthusiasts and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian sour ales.

22 oz. bottle with a bottle date of 01/26/12. Crystal clear amber color with a purple hue. Aroma is tart berries, oak and Brett with minor acidic notes.
The flavor is moderate Brett funk with a white wine notes throughout the middle. Tart berry and hints of Pickle juice? Body is medium with an extremely dry texture. Refreshing with a crispness that is very enjoyable.

Wild beer, with a sour and tardy body, yet also with a smooth wine-like touch of soft fruits. Good one.
