A Märzen-style Fest Bier brewed with the finest German malted barley, aromatic Bavarian noble hops and traditional lager yeast. This rich malty lager is one of the few that remain true to the tradition of fest beers originally brewed to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig in 1810. We hope you enjoy this fall offering. Prosit.

Draught at Beer Street: pours amber with off white head. Aroma is caramel and light hoppy notes. Sweet. Low bitterness. Easy.

12 oz bottle from jcos. Mostly clear darker orange color, beige head and strong lace. Doughy, with some caramel, toffee, and spice. Bit of earth. Little too sweet, but otherwise tasty. Solid feel. Slightly sticky. Solid overall.

Draft at Chumley's. Pours a clearish copper with a finger of off-white foam that lingers. Light grass and pepper with sweet malt aromas. More sweet malt on the palate with caramel and faint pepper and hay towards the end. Lingering mild bitterness and toasted caramel malt. Not bad, but a bit too sweet to my liking.

Bomber from the archives, bottled circa 2007. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Caramel malt aroma. Whatever complexity this had when brewed has dissapate with age.

Decent enough of an Oktoberfest beer, but they don't seem to have used much if any Vienna malt. To me, that's a key ingredient of a good fest beer.

Draught. One lite Mass! Light hazy deep amber liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus grain, bread, light toast and earth. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of bread, nuts, toast, floral hops and citrus. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Nice, drinkable and modern. Quite hoppy for a Märzen.
