The wolf inside this Imperial IPA is trying to walk upright. This bright, aromatic, and unrelenting beer was brewed with our friends in the band Pig Destroyer, and features tons of hops and hop extracts for power and drinkability.

(On tap @ Mikkeller Bar Stockholm, Dec 28 2014) Pours a hazy pale yellow-gold with a big white head that left tons of lace. Aroma driven by sweet candied orange and overripe tropical fruit mix, lightly resinous with a slightly spicy undertone like hops/rye? The flavour was again heavily fruit forward, with a predominant flavour of Fuzzy Peach candy all the way through. Some citrus tones in there as well. Quite sweet, a bit too much so when warm - caramel malts with a little spiciness that again recalls rye. Bitterness on the finish is present but fairly light for style. Moderately full palate with average carb. Nice fruity DIPA but I found it a little sweet and cloying in direct comparison to Dreadnaught after a few sips, and I kept on thinking about that candy. Still a really good beer!

22oz bomber shared at tasting. Tastes better than I remembered from when I had it before(?). Garlic,green onion overload. A little hairspray. very bold and intense. A touch harsh. One for the hardcore.

Draught at CBC 2014. Clear golden liquid with a medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, flowers, bread and tangerine. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of citrus, tangerine and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Bottle at Churchkey. Shockingly floral aroma. Taste is smooth and fruity with grapefruit and mixed tropical fruit. Delicious.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Fine hoppy aroma. Starts wonderful fruity-dry, notes of grapefruit and lemon, bitter background. Dry-bitter finish. Nice!

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Bright golden orange coloured pour with a lasting off white / cream head. Aroma is lemon crisp, resin and some floral notes. Pine needle in the nose as well. Flavour is crisp lemon citrus, sticky resin pine, some nelson sauvinlike hop in there as well. Layering of the hops is really good. Aggressive piney bitterness. Palate is sticky sweet resin, finish is nice and dry. Hides the abv well.

Draft. An unclear amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, lemons, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, lots of hops, and malt, leading ot a very bitter finish.

[ As Three Floyds Permanent Funeral ].Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, grapes, sharp, citrus, zest.
