The wolf inside this Imperial IPA is trying to walk upright. This bright, aromatic, and unrelenting beer was brewed with our friends in the band Pig Destroyer, and features tons of hops and hop extracts for power and drinkability.

Tap. Hazy orange with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, pine, citrus and a little earthy. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, pine, earthy, bitter, medium sweet, grapefruit and long bitter finish.

Enjoyed on tap at Reggie's during the Pig Destroyer show. Appearance is a bright cloudy gold with a very rich, frothy white head. Aroma is huge on hops, mostly grapefruit, but a relatively nice mixture of grassy hops as well. Taste is pretty phenomenal, really nice hop profile, probably the best IPA where the grapefruit tones are prevalent. Really happy with getting this.

Draught @ CBC 2014. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, sweet fruity hops, peach, melon, bubblegum, pine. Flavor is malt, caramel, sweet fruity hops, peach, melon, orangepeel, pine. Medium body, average carbonation, lasting bitter. 030514

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit bitter finish.

Sampled @ CBC 2014. Slightly unclear orange color, small off-white head. Aroma and taste are malts, hops, fruitpeel, slightly alcohol, some citrus and pineapple lightly. Medium body and carbonation. It’s nice, but somehow it doesn’t stand out imo.

Mikkeller Vik. Three Floyds tap takeover. Keg share with loadsa Ratebeerians! Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crispy. Nice hops - pine and a little hop spice backed up with citric peel and tropical fruits. Finishes dry and a little bitter. Nice!

Dark orange color, steady off-white head. Aroma has citrus, pineapple and fruityness. Full-bodied. Loads of citrus, sticky malts, pineapple and booze kick. Long lingering citrus bitter aftertaste. Heavy and good.
