Copper with a large foamy head that left great lacing. Boozy and sweetish with grapefruit and candied fruit. Lightly bitter. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

Pint can - this is a rough and abrasive brew - simultaneously too sweet and too bitter, with strong alcohol throughout - some of the hop character is bright, resinous, and tasty - the back end has that ipa meets barleywine note you might recognize from back in the day - tastes like 2002.
Canned . Pretty amber orange clear pour with thin white sticky head. Heavy citrus and pine resin. Sweet syrup. Pretty good. Reminds me of hopslam

OK, this stuff appears quite viscous. Hazy pale. Strong boozy nose of IPA hops, alarming. Big ass bitter from teh start, knocks me back a few. Nasty puddle of bastard. Whew. Surprisingly there is some co2, glad of it, takes my mind away from its violent impact. But now I think I'm getting a little dizzy. Did I say whew? WHEW. One big rude ass brew.
Malt bomb. Would’ve been exceptional ten years ago.
Pic is of Kieran McKenna, the Ipswich manager, back in his Spurs era.

Ever so slightly hazy, but beautiful crisp copper, bronze and amber coloured body with a nice, larger bubbled tan head, about three centimetres tall, with a ton of bubbles rising from the bottom - very beautiful looking! Aroma of grass, light pine, some earth, a dash of metal, caramelised sugars and toffee with some subtle hop notes and alpha acids, too. Full-bodied; Rich, nutty, caramelly and earthy malt with a good deal of pine, resinous and cleanser-like flavours with a ton of pungency here in a good way with a big malt bite, some smoother caramelly sugars at the end, but this is a big beer here with tons of strong flavours throughout, in a good way. Aftertaste is rich, pretty bitter, but showing a lot of earthy and resinous notes with some good older school Pacific NorthWest hop flavours amplified, with a thick, sweet caramel finish. Overall, a very nice older school, pungent and deep real Imperial IPA that brings back old Dreadnaught vibes (when I was in college!) and is great to sample, quite fresh and highly recommended, especially if you like older school Imperial IPAs. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Marlin Market in Pocomoke City, Maryland on 26-February-2023 for US$16,99/four pack (US$4,25/for one), packaged on 14-October-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-May-2023.

Draught @ Pleasant House Pub, Chicago (Jan 2024). Extremely hazy dark yellow-orange with a foamy light beige head, orange peel-mango aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter orange peel-mango taste, peach flavor, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Very good.

Big burly beast of an IPA. Grapefruit zest, mango, caramel, honey, and a hefty dose of booze. Everything you want from a 10.5% IPA. Good stuff.

Pours hazy orange with an aroma of citrus and resinous hops. It tastes hoppy as hell with kick you in the teeth resinous hop bitterness, a solid malt backbone, and a long finish. Excellent.
