The wolf inside this Imperial IPA is trying to walk upright. This bright, aromatic, and unrelenting beer was brewed with our friends in the band Pig Destroyer, and features tons of hops and hop extracts for power and drinkability.

Awesome citrus smell balanced by beautiful barley profile. Better than the Panzer Wolf. Medium bitter finish. Average carbonation. Finishes with tang as well. Hay in here with the big hops aroma. I’m not sure where this bottle came from at Churchkey last night.

Bottle from a trade poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy dark orange color with about a finger of off-white head. Some sediment towards the end of the bottle. Nice sticky lacing. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, floral hops, light dank notes. Tasting notes of grapefruit citrus, tropical fruit, pine/resin, sweet malt, piney and floral hops. Medium body with a semi-dry finish, juicy malty mouthfeel. Very smooth for 10.5% ABV.

Sample shared by a friend. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, tropical fruits and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, pithy grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering dank hoppy aftertaste. Very good IIPA all around.

On tap at Liquor Barn Beaumont. Pours light orange with huge beige head. Aroma is huge citrus hop, medium body, and medium carbonation. Taste is herbal hops, some citrus, and bitter finish. I prefer Dreadnaught.

Bottle @ Armin’s house, courtesy of DalzAle. Thanks! Pours a bit hazy golden orange appearance with an off white head. Big spicy, citrusy, grapefruity, herbal, bright hoppy aroma. Somewhat sweet, candy/smartees, mango, grapefruity, resiny flavor. Good.

A golden DIPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, pleasant mix of orange and floral citrusy hops, light catty notes, and nice conifer character. In mouth, a sweet orange pulp mix with floral hops, pink grapefruit, very nice and fruity. On tap at End of Everything beer fest Dec 22 2013.
