Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark plum, almost black, with limited cream foam, fine. Aroma is herbal, weak toasted. Body is dense, with a nice tickling carbonation. Taste is intensely sweet, with limited bitterness, mostly felt in the final.

Bottle from Beer Republic, dated Feb 03 2017. Almost clear redbrown color, short frothy head. Aroma of tobacco, butterscotch and some smokey meat. Meaty flavors, bit sweet, caramelized onions, slight spicy. This would do great in a stew I guess. Enjoyable.

Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2017-11 getrunken. Ein wunderbares, typisches WeeHeavy mit einen schönen malzigen, vollen Körper und doch ist es gefährlich süffig. Ein feines Teil - lecker!

Aroma is malty and traditional but a touch on the mild side. Flavor is more rich with a hint of smoke very nice, Bittersweet with some Carbonic Tang. Body is on the thin side but not too bad nice finish good beer overall.

0.355 l bottle from 'BierPost.com', bottled in October 2016. Clear, dark reddish brown with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, toasted nuts and milk chocolate. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of caramel, toasted nuts and milk chocolate with hints of dark fruits, followed by a medium long, slightly roasty, quite bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite sweet and not overly sophisticated but easily drinkable and saturating.
