A truly unique India Pale Ale, this iteration of our Jai Alai IPA boasts the addition of white oak spirals to impart sleek notes of vanilla, coconut and a touch of dill to Jai Alai’s bold citrus and caramel character. The oak also serves to temper the bitterness in the 70 IBU base beer while oak tannins elegantly dry the beer’s body to create a unique drinking experience that still remains true to Jai Alai’s unique qualities.

Bottle, at Christianssand Brygghus. A hazy orange colored beer with a dense off-white finger thick head leaving lacing. The aroma has a touch of oak and some vanilla. Pine cones, citrus zest and a touch of resin, with a pleasant body. Nice carbonation, full to medium body and a decent bitterness. Fruity flavor, pine cones, grapefruit and resin, with a light flowery touch towards the end. A delicious one indeed. 190530

12 ounce can from Three Cellars Menomonee Falls, 3/15/19. Slightly hazy amber, large frothy whiteish (barely off-white) head, good retention. Aroma of strong oak, vanilla, piney hops, pale malt. Taste is bitter hops... tropical and candied citrus... pale buttery malt. Some oak, maybe? Strong lingering bitterness, good balance.

Can from giant eagle market district. Is this just another ubiquitous IPA, is this rated high just because its CC? Just asking. And how about this? Is it rated high just because its a JA? Looks like typical clear pale IPA, was expecting a hazy beer considering the name. Nose gets sweet perfume fresh plastic kids shoe lace kids smell. Big rocky craggy head. Big sharp super sweet blasting ipa impressions, way over the top, cutting, bitchy punch in the palate. Nasty big ass wallop in the face, and then, it kicks yer big ass, fahmah kicks, mahfah yeah, kick yer ass. Terribly and full shit on bullshit style, no lie. Perhaps a little more rude and detailed compared to most IPA but its still the same; a big plant viscous mess of hop flowers. Chew on a decent tasting inner tube. Like IPA? Flip my numbers and go get insulted you he man. Mouth coating palate wrecking finish that never ends, thank you. Not impressed, way too far into the imperial IPA style. Well, at least ist beer and not stupid ass beer malt drink whanna bee.
