A thickly laced off white head on an appealing orange/amber body. Nose has a touch of booze, sweet malt and candied fruit. This is a smooth taste profile. Sweet malt, raspberry jam, citrus hops, and caramel blend together nicely. Slightly slick and sticky mouth feel. A superior, easy drink

hazy amber/brown color. Aroma is full of hops, and minimal malt with a touch of caramel. Flavour is super hoppy. The alcohol is hidden quite well. Finish is quite bitter. There isnt much malt in here that i can tatse, it’s more of a super hoppy barley wine. This seems to be another beer that blurs the lines between Double IPA, and Barley wine, just like Founders Devil Dancer. Still an excellent beer. For someone who loves hoppy beers, this is a treat. I find it to be very very smooth, and super easy to drink. I’m finding myself take big gulps, something i wouldnt do with a robust barley wine.

Bottle. orange brown color. Malt, red berries and flowery and oily hops in the aroma. Malty sweet start, followed by a hard punch of hops. Oily and earthy hops. A massive beer with an almost endless hopbitter and citrus aftertaste.

Men helt ok iaf.

355ml can kindly shared by Finn at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Crocheted lacing from a patchy off-white head. Hazy orange coloured body with a reddish tint. Inviting smell of apricot and juicy malts. Well blended taste of red orange, apricot and earthy malts with caramel sweetness beneath. Bittersweet long tail. Solid stuff. Nice. (Tromsø 28.10.2017).

Bottle @ home. Slightly unclear dark orange to reddish color, full sized thick dense creamy white to off-white head that lasts for a long time and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, resin and pine. Taste malts, hops, lightly resin, firm pine, piney hops, lightly sticky hops. Malt base, firm pine bitter, bitter, medium body, decent to medium carbonation. Lovely beer, but I'm curious as to why this is a barley wine. I'd call this an Imperial IPA with a firm malt base. Nonetheless, whatever it is, it's a really nice beer! 9-5-9-4-18.

Unknown vintage but it's at least 2 years old. Very American with a crapload of pine & resin heavy hops. Malts aren't close to balancing it.

Bottle 650ml @ home
Pours slightly hazy copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, dried fruits, orange and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and heavy bitter with a long warm, malty, caramel, bitter, orange and citrus finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
