Bottle looks very much like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected. Starts strong, more spicy than malty, a bit alcoholic and metallically. Finish softer, still spicy, some grasy notes. Better than exspected!

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Looking nice in the glass, this one. Clear, amber body and a dense, finger-thick off-white head that lasts. Caramel, tropical fruits and some nuts and alcohol in the aroma. The flavor is nutty and caramel-ish, fruits and alcohol blends in, as well as some bitterness. Full-bodied and warming, finishing with a pleasant bitterness. A decent bock, not world class, but decent, and considering it’s Darguner, surprisingly nice. 110319

Bottle @ Denmark/Norway Tasting @ Ulfborg 2011. @ Flensburg. Pours dark copper/golden with a small creamy white head. Grain, paper, bread, alcohol and vague caramel. Watery. Alcoholic with a cheap discount feel.
