Can, mail order from the brewery. Nutty British malts, earthy, toast, light caramel, spicy hops. Orange-amber with a low head. Very spicy hop flavor, earthy, light citrus--orange, peppery, toasty, lightly nutty malt. Prickly, spicy, earthy finish. Nails the style as expected. Not exactly a bitter, but a craft pale ale that is completely English. Love it as a session drinker.

Less exciting. Sweet and malty, but don’t quite get it.

Tap at TDM 1874 tap-takeover @ Wurst Haus. Nice golden, poured to the brink, so not really much foam or carbonation. Which is fitting for the style. Malty nose, just a hint of herbal hops. Light caramel. Taste is caramelly, not sweet but dry, overall feeling quite British.

very very pale amber brown color. Very austere, woody, earthy, with focus really around the malt backbone. The hops mingle perfectly to give just the right amount of bitterness but subtle. High quaffable. Very English. Would like to try on hand pump and much warmer but superb take on the style to the level you rarely see outside the Uk
