When we finally set a date to brew with Steve Hoile from Siren Craft Brew, we knew the brew was going to be unique. We’ve delved into the world of kveik, a type of yeasts traditionally used in Norway. These beers are unlike what we have ever tasted, with big, bold flowery and fruity flavours. We added honey and zest to let these flavours shine. If ever a beer will transport you to mythical lands it is this: It tastes not unlike walking through a Norwegian flower garden where you hear the honey-voiced sirens sing.

Interesting. At first it seems to mostly be a lot of honey and thyme, but after a few sips it starts resembling hospital desinfectant. Not tasting bad, but definitely a bit unpleasant. Fun to have for sure!

Draught @ Foeders. Light hazy yellow golden color. White head. Aroma's of lemon, herbs, light honey-ish sweetness. Retronasal follows this, perhaps a bit more herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet with some lemony sourness and herbs. Medium bodied. Short finish. OK, but not Kromme Haring's finest.
