On tap at Rip Current, pours a deep dark brown with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy coffee, light roast and light sweetness. Flavour is very dry and earthy, with a very earthy, chalky coffee character and toasted malt backbone. Dry and earthy. Not as good as Java Break surprisingly.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast coffee and brownie. Medium body, cocoa, brownie, bitter roast finish, very good.

Draft @ Rip Current Brewing - North Park, San Diego, CA. Pours a dark brown black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty coffee and chocolate aroma. Roasted malty coffee and chocolate flavor with weak hints of licorice. Has a roasted malty coffee and chocolate finish.
