Tasting Notes: a traditional bitter with an accomplished balance and a spicy resinous hop aroma. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruit and toffee notes.
Hops: Challenger, Goldings & US Cascade.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle brought home from my South Wales trip. A well balanced & smooth amber bitter with flavours of malt. Decent.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear brown amber with small white head, nice retention. Aroma is sweet malts, biscuit, light earthiness, chocolate. Taste is the same, sweet, biscuity, earthy, some pine, hints of chocolate, moderate grassy bitter bite. Light to medium bodied, fairly smooth. Nice beer, maybe on thing lacking is a fruity element to elevate it.

Cask poured in the Royal Oak in Saundersfoot. Clear copper-amber with a head. Crisp, smooth tasting mildly bready notes provide a full flavour, with a low bitter finish. Also tried in its bottle version, found in Pembroke Dock.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a short-live, frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, fruity, light floral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Bottle. Nose is butterscotch, caramel, bread, malt. Taste follows malt, butterscotch, caramel, citrus, slight toast, leading to a soft fruity finish. Really well put together traditional bitter. Much better than I was expecting
