A session version of the Trespasser pale ale with pronounced crystal malt offset by an enticing English hop character.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear brown with dense beige head. Sweet malts with a light roasted touch, plums, caramel, dry wood, red apples, light fruity and grassy hops. Medium sweet and bitter. Solid medium bodied. OK.

Pours a deep amber (to brown) colour and a small light beige head. Aroma's of moss, fruity. Retronasal it's mossy and fruity with some sourness and bitterness. Flavour is fairly bitter with a light sour touch, later on some sweetness comes up. Dry mouthfeel. Quite low carbonation. Light bodied. Finish is quite bitter, but not astringent.
