Forget the craft beer jargon; this IPA speaks for itself. Old World, new-wave hops add a fruity twang to a surprisingly dry, full malt base. Satisfying and sessionable.
Slovenian Styrian Wolf and German Mandarina Bavaria Hops foxtrot on a rich malt base, releasing delicate flares of mandarin and blackcurrant. UNTITLED IPA is the essence of what we love about Edinburgh; it’s modern, outward-looking and proudly distinctive.
The artwork on the packaging comes from an ‘Untitled Proof’ by Eduardo Paolozzi. Like our IPA, you don’t need a specialist degree to enjoy it – it’s an instant, colourful pleasure.

On tap at a Fringe venue. Pours gold. Peach, very floral, bit of noble hop stuff, not much grain. Medium body. Not really very IPA.

Bottled 330ml (S-Market Tikkula)
A bit hazy amber colour, small off-white head. Light fruity hops, pine and caramel in the nose. Light-bodied. Pine, fruits and caramel also in the flavour. A bit rough. Reminds me about some APAs from Finnish start up breweries. Tolerable.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 12/2020, from a supermarket, 20190426) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, earth and herbalness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, herbalness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was herbal and bitter. A thin brew with unpleasant hops.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden orange with a slight haze. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - dried orange and a touch of hobnob. Taste - bitter orange and more biscuits. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry tangy and bitter middle and finish. Overall - decent if a bit on the bitter side for my taste.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Hazy golden body with thick white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth, herbs and dried grass. Flavour of bay leaf and earthy hops with a bitter finish. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A tasty old-school IPA.
