On tap at Hotel Valaskjalf, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, a touch of caramel, and a hint of smoke. Flavour is similar, with toasted bready malt and a tiny hint of smoke. Clean and easy, but nothing special.

330 ml bottle. Pours dark gold, clear, some white foam. Malts in the nose, a bit husky. Tastes sweet, light bitterness, simple lager basically. Not bad, not special.

Can, 0.50l, courtesy of Marko, shared with colleagues. Aroma is grainy, grassy and caramelly. Pours clear amber color with thin creamy off-head and average sparkling appearance. Tastes medium sweet caramelly, honeyish and grassy with mild bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. A bit to sweet, but quaffable...
