Both aromas and flavors are slightly old resin and citrus hops, with some caramel malt and rotted fruit. Slightly sweet up front going towards bitter at the end. Okay beer.

On tap at Smog City Taproom - Torrance, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, a bit of dank, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is dank and piney, with intensely bitter piney hops but balanced well crisp biscuity malt. Really assertive piney character. Excellent west coast.

Bottle from Craft Beer Kings. Pours bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of pine/resin and mildly roasty malt. Med body. It's dryish, but rather malty. Pine/resin with moderate plus bitterness. Tasty, but old school. For me it's comparable to Sierra Nevada pale ale in some respects (malt making me go there).

Pleasing golden pour, clear and with some quite rich white foam on the top. Nose is piney, hop oils and light honey hop marmalade herbal note there as well. Tastes hoppy, body is weaker compared with the hop kick - but it somehow works and feels quite well in balance. Decent bitterness lingering in the finish. Good light bodied but hoppy, oily and resiny IPA.

Medium golden color. Fairly quick disappearing white head. Stone fruit, Pine and citrusy nose with nice crackery maltiness. Slightly sweet. Very light body. Medium aggressive bitterness, medium carbonation. Excellent stone fruit and pink grapefruitiness. Super quaffable. Slightly alcohol warming in the finish. Off dry finish. Really nice. Just a touch boozier than expected. This is what you drink pint after pint of and enjoy the night away. A crowd pleaser.
