Tap @ Baird Nakameguro Taproom. Pours clear amber, some off-white foam on the top, staying around for quite long. Nose has some freshly baked bread there, malty for sure with a light hop hints and some extra thick malty caramel. Taste is also malty, lightly caramelized malt sugars, hints of roast in the lingering finish bitterness. Pretty good altbier, Baird's house character shines through - and makes this one even more palatable. Good at what it does, just not too interesting as a style for me.
