Small Nelson Everything with our hand selected NZ hops rolling in we are about to have a bunch of brand new beers to match. Small Nelson shows off Nelson Sauvin hops with fruitier notes that we’ve always loved and less of the dank.

Admin Note: This is the entry for the Non-DDH version released in 2018.

Can thanks to William. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong citrus and pine. Slick body, grapefruit, pine, lingering bitterness, very good.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours hazy gold with a lasting, frothy white head. Pretty tasty, decent pale malt character, some white grape, straw, lemon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish, more white grape and tangerine, some bitter rind. Nice. (September 2018, score: 3.6)

Can at home in Hackney - care of drsandman. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Nice melon and grapefruit in the nose, modest dankness, lemon rind. Medium bodied with fine to a average carbonation. Mellow warmth in the finish, pale bread, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, a little cat pee. Super solid. (October 2018, score: 3.9)

Draught at the source: pours pale haze with a white head. Aroma is really excellent NS tropical fruitiness. Taste is not super juicy. Quite dry actually. Restrained bitterness, but with a veritable pleasant fruitiness. Solid. Though I did get some vegetable cuttings on the last sip and therefore deduct .1.
