Street share @ Yoyogi. Pours dark brown, almost black. Deep dry and roasted nose, lightly ashy. Taste has more of that deep roast, ashes and hints of dark fruits, umami and liquorice. Sweetness is not dominating at all, well made dry imperial stout.

Very nice licorice and roasted malt character that is nice. Good roasted malt, low carbonation dark fruit, Caramel. Smooth. Very nice.

330mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, some earthiness, bit of chalk and some cocoa. Flavour is rich and roasty, with plenty of robust roasted malt, a healthy hop character, some dry cocoa powder, and a touch of earth. Despite the high gravity and high hop content, this manages to drink quite easily. Palate is creamy, and everything works. Very good.
