33cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Almost black colored, big dense light brown head. Smell barley, whiskey, chocolate, some sweetness, slight roastyness, all very balanced. Taste dark and roasted malts, bitter, chocolate, whiskey, wood, some alcohol. A bit sharp but suitable carbonation and a medium to full body. Good one!

Draft @ ACBF 2012: black with a thick mocha head, smells of roasted malts, coffee & molasses sweetness, taste is bitter roasted malts, mixed with touch creamy oatmeal, cold coffee, quite fruity dark fruits, light berries, chocolate, molasses, espresso, there is some speyside in the finish but very light, malts & oatmeal body, De Molen keeps churning out stellar stouts, imagine if they were in the states , this was the lesser one @ ACBF

Draft @ ACBF 2012, Moen. Brune foncée, col beige léger. Arôme de malt grillé/chocolaté avec ce bouquet unique de Speyside sur une légère tourbe et cendre. En bouche, palais malté, chocolaté, profile de barrique de Speyside donne un profile légèrement fumé et tourbe sans être trop exagéré. Fini est sec, malté avec juste ce qu’il faut de whisky tout en gardant une levure signature DeMolen.

De molen haver 13% At ACBF 2012 Black big malts and oatmeal molasses and espresso coffee lovely aroma. Big and wide in mouth. Good finish some warmth some dryneds and molasses great 4.2

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is smooth and dark roasted malty flavoured. Sweet, fruity, dark malty and light liqourice. Mellow dark roasted, mild acidic. Dark malty finish.
