This IPA gets its light silky texture from rolled oats. The flavor and aroma both express mandarin and citrus all around. Over five pounds of hops per barrel makes this IPA truly Bodhilicious. Gold medal winner in the American Style IPA category at the Great American Beer Festival in 2016!

Pale gold, pretty dry with a nice big fresh citrus hop nose and flavor. Real nice burst of aromatics, milder bitterness. Draft. This beer followed me around Seattle, I kept seeing it everywhere, so I finally relented and had a pint at Retro Lounge Seattle. It was worth it. Overall pretty good.

Can at home, thanks to an IP trade with Stevoj, 23/05/18. Almost clear golden orange with a well presented off white cap of bubbles. Nose is orange peel, red grapefruit zest, toasted malts, grains, lemon rind. Taste comprises grapefruit, light caramel notes, airy malts, trace of pine, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced lightly aggressive hop bitterness. An on point clean and easy drinking IPA.

Well the aromas and flavors are of really fresh hops although the canning date on this is 20 February 18. The Hop characteristics are a balance between Pine resin and citrus with just the right amount of malt sweetness to further balance it. Great body carbonation and finish make this a super good drinking beer.
