Avalanche is the quintessential, refreshing pale ale showcasing Cascade and Liberty hops. Punchy, clean citrus and grassy hop flavours with a balanced, bittersweet finish designed to quench the strongest of thirsts. Named after punk band, ''I Am The Avalanche'', our year-round progressive pale ale was first brewed in 2007 and quickly became a favourite of our team.

13th Aug 2015: cask pint in The Wellington, Ayr, Scotland. Poured a clear, light golden colour with a weak white topping. Aroma leads with citrus notes, as does the taste, pine, grass and floral traces complete both the nose and flavours. A little sweetness from the malts, but a mildly bitter finish ensures the hops rule the brew really. Not a lot of body depth and bordering on watery.

Cask at Birratrovo, Como
Hazy blond color with large head. Baker’s yeast aroma. Light blond ale, delicate malts and English hops, dry and a bit astringent.
Good beer but it seems that the cask is muffling it.

0,5 l bottle from Scotia Spirit, Cologne, best before 7/2015. Clear, pale golden yellow with a medium-sized, foamy, very slowly diminishing, white head. Nice, fruity and fresh aroma of lemon and hints of honey. Grassy, sweetish taste with notes of lemon, honey and grapefruit. Slightly bitter and crisp finish. Medium body, creamy and almost spritzy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not overly aromatic, but quite tasty and pleasant to drink. Very sessionable and refreshing as well. Good summer beer!
