Poured from 333mL bottle (lot number stamped 06/10/22). Near black with small light beige head. Light molasses, feint toasted character in the background, fairly thin bodied. Okay.

Nearly black. Light head. Has sort of a worty, molassesy type of dark malt aroma. Full body. Similar palate. Sweet, pleasant, like alcoholic malta. Not complex, but drinkable enough.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before November 2022. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and toasted nuts. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and toasted nuts, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, a little earthy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good classic Schwarzbier, absolutely on point.
