Tap at Yellow Ape. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma orange, bit of yeastiness. Taste nice enough, decent orange, bitterness again, quite sweet but something not quite there. I like orange stuff so was a bit disappointed. Will try again some time. Rerate at home from bottle. Either I was pissed or it wasn't as good on tap. Still not mindblowing, but the orange taste is pretty nice. Aroma is a bit caramelly and subtle orange. There is still something not quite there. Taste is good, but something about the body maybe. It feels too thick and not refreshing and crisp enough for me. But definitely prefer it this time.

On tap at JiBiru, pours a clear golden amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out spicy, earthy hops upfront, with a hint of citrus, and biscuity malt. Flavour is unusual, with spicy earthy notes, citrus hops, and some mandarin. Spicy and earthy to go along with the fruitiness. Strange one. Not feeling it.

Bottle shared in London at Chriso tasting (May 2014). Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds aged hops, pine needles, citrus rind. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of pale bread and light marmalade. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, nips of white bread, hay. Fine.

Clear dark orange beer, creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit oxidized, fruity, soapy touch, citrus, grapefruit, bit malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very oxidized, malty, some grapefruit, bitter, bit watery, more bitterness. Aftertaste: soapy, grapefruit, bitter, more oxidation, bit floral, bitter, meh. Ugh, I guess that'll teach me to look up a beer first, then buy it. Here I just grabbed it from the shelf cause it's Hitachino and it said IPA. A mistake nevertheless...

An orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has complex citrus, mandarin, orange, fructose, some fruit candies. Taste has citrus, caramel, some wood. Medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Could be fresher.

0.33 l bottle brought by Višnja. Thanks! Hazy amber, small off-white head. Moderate hopped, fruity hops, peach, candy, malts. Spices. Fake flavours but not unpleasant. Sweet. Herbal maybe. Medium body, moderate carbonation, hoppy finish. Weird.
