12 oz can purchased as a single at Wine & Cheese, If You Please? on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The pour is a hazy golden yellow with a rocky one inch egg white head that falls slowly with nice lacing. The aroma is lemon and apple fruit, hay, grass and bready malt. The taste is a pleasant combination of the fruit soft sweet notes, along with the general hay bread malt. There is an interesting tang to the finish which also dried it out considerably. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and the clean dry finish. Interesting beer, quite easy to drink.

Slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium fizzy white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, pine and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, piney hops and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity yeast and floral hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can. It’s an unclear, orange-colored beer with a creamy, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is faintly spiced and quite citrusy, not much maltyness going on. Some resiny, grassy notes too. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, quite dry too. Flavorwise it’s just like drinking a saison, with the yeastyness, spicyness and citrusy flavors. Pine cones and bitterness, lasting for a good while. Can’t say I really catch this one, but it’s sure a fine and refreshing one. 140621
