Can at Craig’s. Pours golden yellow, light lemon and biscuit, dry, sweet, yeasty.

Appearance: Pale golden color with a white head.
Aroma: Mild fruity, mild citric and some yeast.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet, and a moderate bitterness. Flat (due to a punctured can fixed with electrician tape) carbonation.
Taste: Citric, yeast, fruity and a mild malty back.
Overall impression: Nice fresh thirst quencher. Think this would have been very nice with proper carbonation.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/18/2013. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden straw color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, pear, apple, light banana, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, bread, light bubblegum, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, pear, apple, light banana, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, bread, light bubblegum, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light earthy/bready tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, pear, apple, light banana, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, bread, light bubblegum, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very nice saison. All around good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Can at Dig. Pale yellow, a bit cloudy. Rather faint nose, corn, lemon, light malt. Light, crisp, and lemony flavor. Easy to drink and refreshing.

Nice, especially for something with rice and corn. Nice bitter hay feel. Golden pour. Bitter finish. Well rounded, good balance. Tap at RFD.

Can at the Stillwater event at dig bar. A slightly cloudy straw gold pour with a big foamy head that leaves behind good lacing. Fruity funky saison yeast notes in the nose. Zesty soft carbonation, ascerbic mouth puckeringly bitter, saison spice, some citrus & a dry bitter finish. At first I got some metallic notes but the second time around not so much. Solid. Served in an aroma glass at Rome temperature. It has a more grassy spicy aroma with the classic saison nose. A light zesty body with an ascerbic mouthfeel, mild metallic notes, spices, quite tasty stuff. Lots of flavor for the low ABV. This beer grew on me.

Pours yellow with a quickly fading head.Nose shows some Belgian yeast, some farmhouse funky notes, soft vegetal hints and banana.Some of the Belgian and farmhouse notes remain as flavours along with a corn note and apple characters.Carbonation is a bit excessive.

Can. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of lime leaf, lemon pudding, hay. Light bodied, high carbonation. Sweet hay, lots of zesty citrus, some leaves and pepper. Quenching dry finish.

12 oz. can from the Bier Cellar, Portland ME. Lightly hazy yellow with a ridiculous amount of carbonation. Aroma is very subtle yeast and weak floral notes.

Flavor is much like the aroma, subtle. Weak pilsner malt, fruit notes, corn and light citrus pith. Rustic grains, pretty good. The mouthfeel is light and effervescent. Easy to drink for sure. I just did a side by side comparison with Allagash Saison. For me this is a distant second.
