Tap at the brewpub. This was version Jan. 7. Cloudy orange amber colour, off white creamy head. Aroma is slightly hoppy, citrus, orange, touch of creaminess, bit biscuity. Taste is similar, orange, tasty, slight bitterness at the end, solid maltiness. Very easy to drink. Pretty nice. Slight sweetness too and bit of earl grey. Smooth and medium bodied. Really nice blonde ale with lots of flavour.

Cloudy golden color. Thick frothy white head. Looks the same as my wife’s session IPA. Grapefruity nose. Very refreshing light mildly hoppy. It was good on a hot August evening.

6.2% ABV on tap at Asagaya Bakushu Dojo. Served in a glass jokki mug. Golden yellow color with a nice white soapy head. Really nice banana, orange zest, cinnamon and nutmug aromas present. Tastes the same but with a nice sour citrus note and clove. Mouthfeel is thin with a lot of carbonation. As it warmed up it lost a lot of its charm and moved almost toward a lager as far as mouthfeel. Dry finish. Too much carbonation in my opinion. --- Beer merged from original tick of Asagaya Blonde on 30 May 2015 at 21:43 - Score: 6
