On tap at Watering Hole. Pours a cloudy rust color with a nice earthy and resiny hop aromas on the nose with some grass and grapefruit as well. Taste is more of the same with a light bitterness. Some pepper and light fruit is also present. Finishes nice and smooth. --- Beer merged from original tick of #022 Akaniga Red IPA on 09 Jun 2015 at 22:01 - Score: 7

Tap at Komachi. Nose of caramel, cherry, grassy, pine. Middy red color, low head. Sweet citrus flavor, fruity, caramel and grass, a tiny bit funky. Seems like a somewhat hoppy amber ale, don’t know why they call it an IPA. Ok.
