On tap 500ml in The Irish Harp, Berlin on 22nd Jan 2016. Not be having another one soon! Bland, cold and sweet. Looked a nice looking beer, a red hue to it’s body with a full, deep head. Downhill from there.

Tap at RJ. Quite clean, only light diacetyl. Lot of esters, strawberries. Soft creamy mouthfeel. Clear reddish brown colour. Very easy drinking, moreish. Short lasting and not very intense.

Bottle. Clear copper/mahagony feat. a decent white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and metal. Taste of malts, caramel, some toffee and biscuits and a certain fruitiness (red berries or maybe even cherries). Considerably more bitter than I remembered with a herbal touch. Medium carbonation. Light bodied. It’s ok like. I do wonder though how I missed rating this before.

Can - Nice sweet caramel notes. Clear Amber with a beige head. Light caramel and light sweet sugars. Basic, but decent.

14.9 oz widget can, thanks brenn79. Aroma is generic beer, grain, sweet malt. Appearance is typical widget can beauty, with cascading bubbles unfurling underneath a tight cap of bone-white foam, revealing a clear copper liquid after it’s done working its magic. Taste is sweet, grainy. Carbonation is nearly nonexistent but the mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Other than the purty appearance, these uncarbonated widget cans are not for me.

Color cobrizo, con espuma muy abundante que se consume con lentitud. Aroma malteado con algo de caramelo. Algo aguada. Sabor malteado con el mismo toque de caramelo que anunciaba en el aroma. Notas de té. Postgusto dulce. Muy bebible.

440 ml can. Pours a reddish amber with a creamy, medium, long lasting, off-white, nitro head that laces. Sweet, roasted, caramel malt aroma. Flavour to match with a mildly bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, oily texture and soft carbonation.
