On tap at The Blarney Stone, a cool nitro pour - a deep red with a thick creamy beige head. Oats, biscuit & ash - oh wait that is some dick smoking. Smooth bodied with a creamy caramel biscuit flavor and a bit of tangy citrus. Really nice middle of the road red.

On tap from Victoria Pub, Copenhagen, DK. Brown with a thick and fully persistent creamy, off-white, grey-ish head. The aroma is yeasty, fruity, caramel, and malts. The taste is medium sweet, subdued bitterness. The palate is creamy, very smooth, like oak-aged. Nice and very drinkable.

Tap@Dubliner, Copenhagen - dark reddish pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma and taste is light toasty bready malty, vague caramel, some very light hoppy notes way in the background. Not for me.

The classic (and most commercial) Irish red, tasted from tap and from bottle. Warm copper colour as custom for the style, creamy, stable head. Caramel and toasted bread in the nose, dried fruits, dry taste with thin and smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation, metallic with toasted bitterishness and some herbal hop bitterness in the finish. Okay for its (artificially conceived) style I guess, but nothing I can thoroughly enjoy.

Clear darkish red, big white head with some lacings. Aroma is malty, dust, marzipan, caramel. Taste is about the same, a bit wattery. Medium body, high carbo. Quite decent.

Nitro draft pour. Dark amber color with thick cream head. Little flavor in this one besides cream. Overall not bad, just lacking flavor.
