Aroma: caramel, hints of spice. Pours brown with white head. Head stays for some time. Medium carbonation. Taste: watery, caramel, some light bitterness. Finish has also some light bitterness and sourness. Overall: goes down well, but it’s too watery - it’s almost like drinking some mildly flavored water with some carbonation.

can 440 ml as "draught". Mild-weich, angenehm, aber etwas mild. Malzaromatisch, cremig, aber es fehlt Körper. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, malzig weich und leicht herb. Sehr süffig. 10/13/11/10

Can from Tesco Carrick-on-Shannon [140813]
Red amber, dense white nitro head
Aroma - Faint soft caramel, vague hint of fruit, little on the nose
Taste - Soft caramel, light berry fruits, simple flavour, better than expected
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, smooth, soft light sweet palate. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - This macro Irish Ale is better choice than the no-flavour Smithwick’s. Better than expected.
