Keg at the Green Man, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark copper colour with a big fluffy white head. The aroma is a little malty leading to a medium bitter, malty, slightly creamy flavour. It’s refreshing in the Asian humidity for sure, but not much else. I used to drink this beer a lot in the days when there wasn’t too much else available. Lord I have suffered!

Kilkenny Draught can with nitrogen. A beautiful, brown beer with a great, medium and thick head due to nitrogen. Aroma of toffeeish malts, bread, some sweetness, berries, and roasted malts. Taste is bready, some sweetness, a aftertaste is quite dry and slightly wooden. Overally, the taste is mild and quite short. Light bodied, velvety smooth to drink. Due to nitrogen the appearance and velvety palate are the best part of this beer, otherwise, mild and easy flavours.

Can. Pours hazy with thick white head. Dark amber, a little reddish. Discernible, slightly hoppy and fruity aroma. Sweetish, malty taste. Wet palate, pleasant, slightly dry aftertaste. A little metallic finish.
