This beer was first brewed in 2009 to celebrate our seventh anniversary. The beer was so successful that it was purchased by Systembolaget for a spring launch in 2010, under the name Amarillo Spring. The success continued and we decided to brew this beer year round. The beer is seasoned only with one variety of hops - Amarillo. We also dry hop with amarillo. Aroma and taste are berries, fruit and citrus. The beer's alcohol content and residual sweetness carries the hop flavors. The color is copper. The beer won gold at SBWF 2010, 2011 and 2013. This beer is sold in the regular assortment at Systembolaget.
Malts: Pilsner malt, red caramel malt och wheat malt.
Hops: Amarillo, also dry hopped.
Pairing: Just excellent match to a classic grilled burger with cheddar cheese and homemade french Pont Neuf.

Copper, very little head. Mmade with only Amarillo hops. Bitterness takes over in the flavour but it's pleasant and long lasting.

Keg tap from the Grain & Hop Store, Cambridge. Dark gold and a bit hazy. Some white head and lacing. Grass and lemonade aroma with a touch of posset. Tastes bittersweet but it’s got an acrid note in the short finish. Average really.

Bottle from systembolaget. A decent APA. Very light and fresh at th start with a developing bitterness. No overriding flavours, except a raw hoppy taste.

Medium, rather dense, just-yellowish head, with a bit of lace over (cold)hazed light-copper beer. Fruity nose, citrus, grapefruit, tad of ureum, pineneedles. Very bitter, metallic, quinine, grapefruitpeel. Rather light body, lots of hopoils in the MF. Low carbonation. Rather lame, certainly for Amarillo.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with thick soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of peach, melon, yeast, herbs and caramel. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and grainy, following is rich fruity, grassy and a bit dusty, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Finally, the one that I’m satisfied with...
